Amanda Little & Associates is a boutique family law firm based in Western Sydney servicing, Penrith, Parramatta, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Oran Park, Hawkesbury, Macarthur, Orange and Greater West regions.

We are a dedicated team of Solicitors and Support Staff here to assist you with your legal issue, be it a divorce, property settlement, children’s matters, buying or selling a house, drafting a will or power of attorney or acting as an executor in your estate. Amanda Little, Bernadette Melhem and Rosemary Aloisio are Accredited Specialists in Family Law.

Amanda Little

Principal Solicitor – Accredited Specialist Family Law

Amanda is the Principal Solicitor of Amanda Little & Associates. She is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Collaborative Family Lawyer, Sessional Academic , Public Speaker and Author. She is recognised as a leading business person in Penrith being awarded 2019 Business Person of the Year for Penrith and 2019 Business Woman of the year for Lindsay.

Amanda has been working in Family Law for over a decade and has extensive experience in all facets of Family Law, Wills and Estates, Care and Protection and Conveyancing.

She is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, member of the Family Law Section, member of the Australian Mediation Association and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She is a founding Member and board member of Penrith Lady Lawyers, the founder of Penrith Professional Women and Director of The Business Minded Lawyer and The Mediation Centre.

In addition to providing Penrith with excellence in legal advice Amanda also  produces academic articles and continuing legal training for other Solicitors. She is also regularly asked to speak at high profile events including Small Business Week and International Women’s day events.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Communication, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (with Distinction) from Western Sydney University and Family Dispute Resolution (legislative Foundation Knowledge and Skills) qualifications from Bond University.

Amanda grew up and attended school in Western Sydney and is passionate about providing quality and professional legal services to her local area. She also has a community focus and is involved in many community events including the Relay for Life, Red Cross, supporting local sporting teams, supporting autism awareness and fostering the growth of female professionals.

Rosemary Aloisio

Rosemary Aloisio

Senior Associate – Accredited Specialist Family Law, Mediator, FDRP

Rosemary is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and was admitted as a lawyer in 2007. She is also a Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

Since that time she has practised predominantly in Family Law and also in Contested Estates. Rosemary’s specialist experience provides her with the skills to successfully advocate for her clients in many different settings such as the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of NSW, the Children’s Court of NSW and numerous Local Courts.

Rosemary completed her Diploma of Law at Sydney University in 2007 prior to her admission as a Lawyer and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

She is a strong advocate and in addition is able to connect with you and your matter on an individual level, helping you to remain calm and composed during a stressful and difficult period of your life.

Rosemary is a caring child focused family law solicitor and can provide you with realistic advice to help you achieve the most favourable outcome in an amicable manner.

Bernadette Melhem

Senior Associate – Accredited Specialist Family Law

Bernadette has over 15 years experience in complex family law matters, being admitted in 2005. She is also an Accredited Specialist in Family Law.

Bernadette is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

Bernadette attended the University of Western Sydney to complete her Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

Bernadette always focuses on her clients needs, and will lead you through your matter in a caring and considerate way. Whilst she focuses on resolution of matters through mediation and negotiation, should a matter need to go to Court she is experienced in appearing in the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

She is a strong advocate and she will make you feel confident that your matter is in the right hands.

Jacinta Watkins

Senior Associate

Jacinta was admitted to practice in 2006 as a Solicitor. Jacinta is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

Jacinta holds a Bachelor of Law from Macquarie University.

Jacinta has extensive experience in all areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Estate Litigation. Having worked in commercial litigation prior to joining the Amanda Little & Associates team, her attention to detail and eye for forensic disclosure, case and litigation planning is unparalleled.

Jacinta is trained Collaborative Law professional and thus brings a considered approach to her cases.

Jacinta can provide you with advice concerning all aspects of Estate Planning, Contested Estates and Family Law matters.

Nicole Tabone

Senior Solicitor

Nicole has recently joined Amanda Little & Associates. She was admitted into practice in 2012.

Nicole practices in Family law, Estates Litigation, Conveyancing and Business Law.

She is currently obtaining her Masters in Family Law with the College of Law NSW and is working towards Specialist Accreditation.

Nicole has a law Degree an a Bachelor of Social Science ( Politics and Public Policy).

Her easy going nature and genuine connection with her clients makes her a valuable asset to the Amanda Little & Associates team.

Aimee Green

Senior Paralegal

Aimee is a Paralegal who brings a wealth of knowledge to Amanda Little & Associates.

She has over 18 years’ experience predominantly in family law and conveyancing, but has also worked in commercial litigation, criminal and debt recovery.

Aimee has worked closely with Counsel over the past 10 years, and has excellent rapport with Counsel and the Courts.

Aimee provides legal support to Amanda and Bernadette and is our Conveyancing Paralegal. Aimee is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws.

She is well loved and respected by all of our clients who regularly praise her work ethic and attention to detail.

Aimee will be able to assist you with all inquiries in relation to your matter.

Lisa Davis

Senior Paralegal

Lisa has more than 25 years experience as a Paralegal. Lisa’s strong knowledge base and her no-nonsense approach means your matter is kept on course at all times! Lisa specialises in Family Law and Deceased Estates.

Lisa is able to tackle any challenge that is thrown at her and will call on her extensive knowledge base to achieve the best results . She is reliable, punctual and delivers as promised.

Lisa directly supports Rosemary and Nicole and is the Deceased Estates Paralegal.

Lisa is also a Justice of the Peace.

 

Michelle Conoulty

Senior Paralegal

Michelle is a Paralegal with over 20 years’ experience predominantly in Family Law, Mediation and Estates but has also worked in other areas of law including criminal, care & protection and debt recovery.

Michelle is also a Justice of the Peace.

Michelle is kind and considerate. She works with her lawyers to ensure that her clients always feel heard and supported throughout the process of their legal matter. Michelle directly supports Jacinta.

She is always happy to be able to assist with enquiries relating to your matter and is an invaluable member of the Amanda Little & Associates team.

Yvonne McLandsborough

Paralegal

Yvonne has recently joined Amanda Little & Associates in a position as Paralegal for special projects.

Yvonne’s attention to detail and her experience of over 20 years as a Paralegal means that she is able to tackle any complex task.

Yvonne is utilised within the firm when a large project requires complete attention and focus – such as preparing for final hearings, for arbitration and preparing tender bundles etc

Alison is a Legal Secretary at Amanda Little & Associates.

Alison has 25 years’ experience in customer service and administration and her friendly disposition will make you feel at ease.

Alison enjoys her fast-paced role, and interacting with and meeting new people.

Alison is also a Justice of the Peace.

Rebecca is well known to our clients as our friendly receptionist.

From the moment you call our office she will make you feel welcome and at ease.

Renee Bateman

Finance and Accounts

Renee undertakes the accounts and finances at Amanda Little & Associates.

Renee has been providing quality services to the clients of Amanda Little & Associates for many years, and is prompt, reliable and delivers as promised.

Renee undertakes the firms invoicing, trust accounts and book-keeping.

She is an invaluable member of the Amanda Little & Associates team.

Mikayla Howell

Legal Secretary

Mikayla in a legal secretary at Amanda Little & Associates who works on specialised projects. She is also a Justice of the Peace.

Mikayla practices in Family Law and provides paralegal and secretarial assistance to the Solicitors within the office.

Mikayla also previously worked in criminal law firms as a legal secretary and brings a positive disposition to the firm.

Mikayla is able to assist you with all inquiries in relation to your matter. Mikayla is also a Justice of the Peace.

Duane Enator

HR and Office Management

Duane has been a integral part of the Amanda Little & Associates Team since 2012.

He is responsible for Human Resources and Office Management.
